When will my Monotype Library Subscription account be moved?
We will move your Monotype Library Subscription account to Monotype Fonts starting December 7, 2023.
Will my free Monotype Library Subscription account be moved?
We will move your Monotype Library Subscription account if you have an active web project. You will have 60 days to sign up for a Monotype Fonts plan before access is turned off.
Do I need to do anything to move my account?
There is nothing you need to do for your account to move. We take care of the transition completely.
Which subscription plan will I be on?
Your subscription plan will not change until your renewal date.
Which fonts will I have access to when my account is on Monotype Fonts?
You will still have access to the same Monotype Library Subscription fonts.
What about my web projects?
We will move all your web projects, font inventory, and synced fonts to Monotype Fonts.
Can I edit my web projects?
No, you cannot edit projects moved from your Monotype Library Subscription account, but you can edit new projects.
Can I continue to self-host fonts for my sites?
You can continue to self-host fonts for your sites until renewal. Once you renew, Monotype will need to host any new projects.
Will my payment terms remain the same once you move my account?
Yes, your payment terms will remain the same until your renewal date.
How will I be billed?
The credit card or PayPal on file will be billed as usual until you’re up for renewal.
When do I need to renew my account?
Unless otherwise stated in a Monotype email, your account will be up for renewal on the same date it would be on Monotype Library Subscription. If you did not receive an email, please contact our support team at [email protected].

How do I access my Monotype Fonts account?
Make sure to log in to Monotype Fonts instead of Monotype Library Subscription. You will need to enter your Monotype Library Subscription email address and reset your password by clicking “Forgot Password.” This will ensure the safety of your account and data.
What if I can’t log in?
If you previously set up a Monotype Fonts account, use the same email address and try the associated password. If you still can’t log in, please reset your password.
How will I sync fonts to my design programs?
Download the Monotype Desktop App to sync fonts from Monotype Fonts to your creative tools.
What does billing look like on Monotype Fonts?
Once you choose a Monotype Fonts plan, you’ll need to input your billing information. We did not transfer over this information from Monotype Library Subscription to protect your privacy.
Will my payment terms remain the same once I sign up for Monotype Fonts?
Your payment terms will be determined by the Monotype Fonts plan you select.
